Fall Guys is getting a new launcher on May 9 and will require a new download for all existing players to keep accessing the popular battle royale. In a new update from developer Media Molecule, the studio explained that since it switched publishers from Sony to its new owner Epic Games, the change in ownership necessitated the need for the game to switch launchers.

The good news is that all your costumes and progress will transfer over with you, and as an added bonus, you’ll be able to pick up a free shark costume along the way. Yes, it looks quite jawsome.

The new Fall Guys PlayStation Launcher will be available on the PlayStation Store from April 5, at which point the old launcher icon will be greyed out. Accessing the game from the updated PlayStation icon will be the only way to play after May 9, and Mediatonic has encouraged its users to delete the old content so that some space can be freed up on the PS5.

The developer said that beyond a few tweaks under the hood of the game, the experience will be exactly the same, and the free shark outfit can be redeemed from the in-game Store page after the new download has been completed. You’ll need to be quick though, as it’ll only be available until the end of season 6 in Fall Guys.

As for when Fall Guys is coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch, Mediatonic recently revealed that it was finalizing development on those console versions and the “tasty new features” that they’ll contain. Just don’t expect the game to appear on Xbox Game Pass, as those rumors were debunked by Satan a while ago.

The next batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month have been revealed, which include high-speed racing, Wild West action that has a high possibility of being weird, and catching some fresh powder on snowy mountains.

On March 17, you’ll be able to master the art of park riding and buttering rails in snowboard simulator Shredders on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud, while The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos will see you lead a team of unlikely and clumsy heroes in a tactical RPG.

Moving ahead to March 22, Tainted Grail: Conquest will be released on Xbox consoles–already available on Game Pass for PC–and is described as a story-driven hybrid between a deck-building roguelike and an RPG. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games will be out the same day on console, PC, and cloud, and has you taking part in a dangerous tournament alongside other strangers who you probably can’t trust.

On March 24, gothic point-and-click narrative adventure Norco will arrive on PC, while EA and Codemasters’ F1 2021 comes to consoles via the EA Play service that’s included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Rounding out the new offerings on are two more games, the console port of Crusader Kings III for Xbox Series X|S on March 29, and the dark fantasy cowboy adventure Weird West on March 31.

Rollercoaster Tycoon Touch is about to see a massive expansion, giving players a whole new landscape in which to build the theme park of their dreams.

The game’s latest update increases the playable area’s grid from 3×3 to 6×6, more than doubling the amount of space available for players to build their parks. The increase in size also comes with an increase in themed season to 12 per year, which will provide plenty of options for filling that extra space.

The press release jokes the development team has spent “better part of the past year working on this long-planned expansion, including investing in the land itself, expanding infrastructure, and ramping up all training for new park staff and entertainers.” The press release also mentions future announcements regarding new rides, stores, and restaurants players will be able to choose from, but did not show any specific examples of what’s on the way.

Rollercoaster Tycoon Touch is a mobile version of the popular theme park building simulation game. It is available for download on both iOS and Android devices. The original version, Rollercoaster Tycoon, first launched in March 1999 for PC and became one of the best-selling games on the platform that year.

Since the launch of AMD’s Zen 3-powered Ryzen 5000 desktop processors in late 2020, the company’s retail desktop chip offerings have been rather static. With AMD facing heavy demand for products on multiple fronts – from CPUs to GPUs to console APUs – and all during an unprecedented chip crunch, the company has held back on expanding its desktop offerings. Instead, AMD has focused its limited TSMC 7nm wafer allocations on trying to keep up with demand for some of their most important (and highest margin) products, such as server CPUs, laptop chips, and high-end desktop CPUs.

However, as the chip crunch has ever-so-slightly abated, AMD is now turning their attention back to the desktop space, to finally focus on fleshing out their desktop processor product lineups. We saw our first glimpse of that last week with the announcement of the long-awaited Threadripper Pro 5000 series for workstations. And now for this week the company is announcing the launch dates of several new Ryzen desktop processors, including the much-awaited Ryzen 7 5800X3D with V-Cache, as well as 6 new low-to-mid-range Ryzen SKUs for the retail market.

Pokemon Unite fans may need to adjust their strategies, as the Pokemon Unite Game Update March 15 patch has gone live, and it’s bringing a Poketon of changes to the game’s roster.

Hoopa–one of the game’s newest Pokemon–received some substantial adjustments to its moves, particularly in regard to its alternate Unbound form. Greedent continues to see nerfs as it has since it launched into the game, while Lucario has also received a slight change in damage output to one of its special moves.

Trevenant is one of the few Pokemon boosted by the latest patch.

On the positive side, Trevenant and Dedicueye both received damage boosts to certain moves, making them more appealing for battle going forward. Tsareena seems to have benefitted the most from this patch, however, as it received multiple stat boosts as well as increased attack power for two of her top moves.

The changes to the existing roster come as the latest Pokemon to join the fray, the Steel- and Dragon-type Duraludon, also joins the battle in this patch. Duraludon is an attack-focused character that can deal a lot of damage in large areas, as opposed to singling out opponents one at a time.

Pokemon Unite is a free-to-play 5-on-5 MOBA game pitting characters from across Pokemon history against one another in a giant arena. The full list of changes coming in the Pokemon Unite Game Update March 15 is below.

The Elden Ring Dung Eater quest puts you in service of one of the foulest beings in the Lands Between, the Loathsome Dung Eater. It’s a scavenger hunt of sorts with a secret variant on the Elden Lord ending waiting for you at the finale, ushering in an age of pestilence, death, and misery. If that sounds like your kind of ending, you’ll need a bit of patience. Most of the items you require are locked in late-game areas.

How to start the Dung Eater quest in Elden Ring

The Dung Eater quest has a drawn-out beginning that starts in the Roundtable Hold and picks up much later in Leyndell, the capital city. The Dung Eater shows up in the room beyond the Husk Maidens at some point after acquiring your first Great Rune. It’s easy to miss unless you explore the Hold after every major event, but when Roderika the Spirit Tuner says she senses a great evil, that’s your sign the Dung Eater has arrived. Speak with him in his chamber, and he’ll essentially tell you to go away because you aren’t tainted enough.

You need a Seedbed Curse to gain his approval. The first one is in Leyndell, near the East Rampart Site of Grace. Exit the room, and follow the ramparts along until you reach a dim chamber with several candles. Descend the stairs, and take the elevator at the end of the path. Keep moving forward until you reach the room with the cloaked enemy. Quickly climb the ladder, then the stairs, and you’ll find the Seedbed Curse on a rather tortured looking corpse.

Your first Seedbed Curse is on a body tied to a chair in the capital.

Show this to the Dung Eater in the Hold. He’ll command you to release his body in the sewers under the capital and hands over the Sewer Gaol Key to help you along.

Dung Eater Location in the Sewer Gaol

The Leyndell sewers are a nightmarish labyrinth, but the path to the Dung Eater’s cell is fairly straightforward. Travel to the Balcony Site of Grace in the capital. Turn around and head down the steps, take a left, and hop over the balcony. Jump into the manhole.

Now, just keep going straight. The “Subterranean Shunning Grounds” location tag appears when you reach a staircase. Instead of turning left to descend, go through the door, which opens onto a vast hall. Drop down, turn left, and enter the first big doorway, also to your left. This is the Underground Roadside Site of Grace and a good checkpoint if something untoward happens moving forward. (You’ll also come back here later if you want the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending)

Go back into the tunnel, turn left, and run ahead until you see a grate. Drop down, turn left, and keep moving forward. There are rats in this first tunnel, but they’re slow and won’t follow you. Continue moving ahead past the plants, and climb the ladder. You’ll emerge into a large, flooded chamber. Turn right, and approach the cell door. Tell the Dung Eater to leave his cell.

Dung Eater not invading in Outer Moat

The next step is visiting his room in Roundtable Hold again, where he’s left a message demanding you meet him at the Outer Moat. Before doing this, though, make sure to speak with Blackguard Boggart, the thief who stole Rya’s necklace at Boilprawn Shack in Liurnia. Purchase prawns from him, then later, you’ll find him near the moat, which is south of the road leading to the Draconic Tree Sentinel. Speak with him again, then reload the area. The Dung Eater should invade once you enter the water.

Some players report the Dung Eater’s invasion won’t trigger unless you speak with the thief first. Either way, you’ll find another Seedbed Curse on his corpse after defeating the invading Dung Eater.

Seedbed Curse locations in Elden Ring

Speak with the Dung Eater again at Roundtable Hold, and he’ll ask that you bring his real body more Seedbed Curses. You need five to get his Mending Rune.

Leyndell, Fortified Manor: In the area that’s meant to be an alternate Roundtable Hold, you’ll find it on the chair in the Dung Eater’s roomVolcano Manor: After taking the portal to the Rykard fight, turn around and go up the stairs. Use a Stonesword Key to unlock the fog door, then descend into the put via the giant metal cages. The Curse is at the bottom.Haligtree, Prayer Room: Exit the Prayer Room to the right of the altar, and follow the ramparts past the crossbowman. Hop onto the masonry at the end of the balcony, then jump to the square with a gazebo and several candles. Use the masonry at the other end of the platform to reach the balcony above, and follow that around until you find another body tied to a chair.Haligtree, also Prayer Room: Exit the Prayer Room to the right again, but before reaching the crossbowman, drop down to the right onto a balcony. Do the same thing again, and then at the doorway with the corpse, drop down to the right again. Head left under the archway, drop off the staircase’s right side, and you’ll find the last Curse on a body tied to a chair.

If you got the Curse off the thief after the Dung Eater’s invasion, you can skip one of these. Take your Curses back to the Dung Eater’s body and feed them to him. After the fifth one, you’ll get the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse. That’s all you need from the Dung Eater, so feel free to end him and collect his armor if you want. Use the Fell Curse rune on Marika’s remains after the final boss battle to usher in the Age of Despair.

Developer A44 Games, the studio behind Ashen, and publisher Kepler Interactive have revealed a new open-world RPG called Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. While the game’s release date has yet to be announced, the studio has confirmed it will launch Day One on Xbox Game Pass.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn follows a young woman named Nor Vanek, who is a member of the coalition army. She has a variety of weapons at her disposal, including a gun and an ax. Her companion creature, Enki, is imbued with magical powers which will help her battle against gods. Nor Vanek has some sort of personal score to settle with the gods and must reunite the Blackstream sappers, a group of explosive and weaponry experts, to help her out along the journey.

The game features an open world where players can fly through deserts, trek through ruins, and explore the mysterious City of Dawn. The reveal trailer shows Nor Vanek fighting several skeleton enemies before another creature tries to ambush her from behind. Enki uses its magic to immobilize the enemy and gives Nor Vanek the opportunity to shoot it at point-blank range.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn launches later this year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Elden Ring‘s massive selection of weapons ranges from typical swords to wild gimmick weapons that can be as useful as they are special. The latter is perhaps best showcased by Ghiza’s Wheel, an obvious homage to Bloodborne’s Whirligig Saw and one of the game’s most intriguing options for high Strength builds looking to get a little weird with things. If you’re hoping to obtain this colossal spinning saw, we’ve got you covered.

Ghiza’s Wheel explained

Ghiza’s Wheel is a giant iron weapon that requires 28 Strength and 18 Dexterity to wield. Despite being extremely large and slow to swing, its passive causes it to build up blood loss on enemies. And you can use that to your advantage even further by taking advantage of its weapon skill.

The weapon skill for Ghiza’s Wheel is called Spinning Wheel, and it does precisely what it sounds like–it spins the saw portion of the weapon at a deadly speed while you’re free to move around with it. If used properly against relatively immobile enemies, this can absolutely demolish a health bar with that added bleed effect.

Ghiza’s Wheel’s item description reads:

Great iron wheel lined with flesh-flaying blades. Device of torture used by Inquisitor Ghiza. As the wheel spins it causes severe pain and blood loss. The design was adopted for use as the iconic weapon wielded by Iron Virgins.

Where to find Ghiza’s Wheel

Ghiza’s Wheel is found within the upstairs dining hall inside the main chambers of Volcano Manor. There are multiple ways to reach Volcano Manor, the most straightforward of which is to trek up and around the steep and dangerous Mt. Gelmir, which is located to the west of Altus Plateau.

Volcano Manor

There is also Rya’s simple questline that can be started in Liurnia of the Lakes. She can be found north of Laskyar Ruins where she’ll send you on a short quest. When you complete it and return to her, she will then move to Altus Plateau, either at the top of the Grand Lift of Dectus or by the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace. Speaking to her there will trigger the option to be teleported to Volcano Manor.

In order to obtain Ghiza’s Wheel, you’ll have to take down its original owner, Inquisitor Ghiza, who waits for you in the aforementioned dining hall. He’s not particularly challenging to defeat due to his slow speed, but he does hit hard when he manages to catch you in a swing, so don’t get too greedy. Once he falls, you’ll have one of the game’s most interesting weapons and be prepared for whatever comes next on your adventure.

A new patch is out now for Halo Infinite that makes some small but important changes for the PC edition of the sci-fi shooter. The March 14 update for Halo Infinite specifically improves stability in the PC version by resolving a “common crash.” The patch notes do not mention the specifics of the crash scenario.

Outside of a fix for that crashing problem, the March 14 update allows players to start Local Area Network (LAN) services from the in-game menus. This is a very small patch, weighing in at about 600 MB or less.

Players need to close and relaunch Halo Infinite to install the patch.

In other Halo Infinite news, developer 343 just recently announced that the long-awaited campaign co-op feature has been delayed further into the future. Season 2: Lone Wolves is coming in May, and campaign co-op will be released sometime during that season, but not at launch.

The Halo TV series, meanwhile, comes to Parmaount+ on March 24. It will show Master Chief’s face, which we suspect will look a lot like Pablo Schreiber’s face. Microsoft and Paramount are apparently confident in the show’s prospects, as Season 2 has already been announced.

The Elder Scrolls Online’s latest yearlong adventure, Legacy of the Bretons, starts today for players on PC, Mac, and Stadia with the release of the new Ascending Tide DLC.

Ascending Tide includes two new PvE dungeons, Shipright’s Regret and The Coral Aerie, and will set the stage for stories and adventures to come later this year with the game’s High Isle chapter. The new DLC will arrive for console players on March 29.

Shipright’s Regret will see players journey to a haunted shipyard that is home to the wreckage of the legendary All Flags Navy. Coral Aerie, on the other hand, will task players with rescuing returning ESO character Jakarn from the mysterious Ascendant Order, the primary antagonists of the Legacy of the Bretons yearlong adventure.

Ascending Tide is included at no additional charge for all ESO Plus subscribers, but can also be purchased standalone through the in-game Crown Store. Like previous ESO DLC and expansions, players do not need to be a certain level to experience the new content, and can instead jump right in.

The new DLC paves the way for future Legacy of the Bretons content, including the new High Isle expansion on June 6, which will include a never-before-seen region of Tamriel and serve as a deep-dive on Breton lore and culture. ESO creative director Rich Lambert has described High Isle as a return to the storytelling roots of the Elder Scrolls franchise with a focus on the politics of Breton society. High Isle is said to include over 30 hours of new quest-related content and will also introduce a strategic card game, Tales of Tribute, with its own single player quest line into the world of Tamriel.
