After showing off how puny Tarnished are in comparison to Armored Core 6’s maps, dataminer Dropoff has now gone in the opposite direction, demonstrating some beastly-huge mechs thrashing about in comparatively tiny Elden Ring environments.

This isn’t my personal holy grail of a mech one-shotting Malenia with the Red Shift, mind. Dropoff brought the Elden Ring map data into AC6 for a helpful size comparison, a process aided by the two games sharing the same engine and scale—a meter in Elden Ring is a meter in Armored Core 6.

Looking for a hand with today’s Wordle? All the help you need to win, your way, is right here. Whether you’d like to read a few tips to help polish up those daily guesses, would love a clue for the February 4 (960) game, or need today’s answer right now, you’ll find it all just below.

I love seeing a helpful green show up on the first row. I definitely don’t love it being the only green almost all the way down the board. I swear, if they gave out awards for missing letters, I’d have won first prize. I did salvage today’s Wordle on the very last row, but that was mostly because there were no other letters left for me to use. Here’s hoping my victory is a little more definitive tomorrow.

Super unique digital miniatures game Moonbreaker has launched out of early access and into 1.0 as of this week, releasing its skirmish combat and painting fun with a whole stack of updates, tweaks, and new features. The highlight for many is a new single-player experience, Boss Run Mode, that takes you through 10 rounds of battle on four new maps to unlock the game’s lore via big battles with nasty boss opponents.

Along with that came a few new commanders and twelve new crew units to take, as well as a healthy pile of new unique cosmetics and such to unlock in the continued rewards track for 1.0.

There’s a hint for today’s Wordle waiting just below if you’d like to give your guesses a little push in the right direction without completely giving the game away. You’ll also find the answer to the February 3 (959) Wordle if you’d love to have today’s solution served up in an instant.

My first row wasn’t in any danger of filling me with confidence—staring at five grey boxes will do that to you first thing in the morning. But thanks to a few careful pokes around the alphabet, and one surprising flash of a good idea, I was able to quickly turn today’s Wordle around. With a bit of luck I’ll do even better tomorrow, or at the very least recover from a poor start as well as I did today.

The Titans of the New West mod for Fallout: New Vegas recently got a 2.0 update and a fresh trailer showing off its complete reinvention of the game’s power armor. Titans of the New West aims to nail the power armor fantasy of the 2D games, turning you into a lumbering hulk straight out of Warhammer 40K.

When it comes to first-person RPGs like the ones on Bethesda’s Gamebryo/Creation engines, I always want to be a sneaky bastard, play it like Thief or Deus Ex, some variation on Skyrim’s vaunted stealth-archer. It doesn’t help that Fallout’s iconic power armor is kind of diminished in its first two 3D entries, 3 and New Vegas. You’re basically choosing to be a slower, clunkier version of your guy with few mechanical benefits, and you don’t even look that cool—the games’ weird, bulky but not imposing power armor almost augments the flaccidness of that classic Gamebryo Stance™.

By rock and stone, they did it: Dwarf Fortress publisher Kitfox Games and Deep Rock Galactic developer Ghost Ship Studios have managed to convince Valve to add an official ‘dwarf’ tag to Steam. But not without a little confusion leading up to the big triumph.

Steam uses tags to help users find what they’re looking for amidst the massive pile of games on its storefront: If, for instance, you’re in the mood for a cute FPS, the tag search function will help you zero in on that very specific interest. (And, by the way, there are more of them than you might think.)

Wayfinder developer Airship Syndicate has confirmed the layoffs of 12 employees, originally reported by Nicole Carpenter of Polygon, as part of an effort to keep the studio open and operating. In an unusual twist, Airship Syndicate said company president Ryan Stefanelli and CEO Joe Madureira are also taking pay cuts.

“I can confirm that today we had to part ways with 12 of our coworkers,” an Airship Syndicate rep said in a statement provided to PC Gamer. “This decision was made to ensure that Airship Syndicate can continue to operate and deliver great experiences. In addition to reducing staff, Ryan Stefanelli, President, and Joe Madureira, CEO, will be reducing their pay while we work to secure our future plans.”
