Hot Wheels: Rift Rally Is Over 50% Off At Amazon
The mixed reality racer Hot Wheels: Rift Rally released earlier this year for PS5, PS4, and iOS. If you didn’t pick it up at launch, now’s your chance to grab the cool racing game for cheap. The standard edition of Rift Rally is on sale for only $60, down from $130, at Amazon for Black Friday 2023. Alternatively, you can grab the collector’s edition for only $80, down from $150.
$60 (was $130)
Similar to Mario Kart Live, Rift Rally bridges digital and physical play by giving you an RC car to pilot in your home. The little car has a camera mounted to it, and using the smartphone app, you can pilot it through a custom circuit that you set up in your space by placing checkpoints around the area. Additionally, you can expand your virtual collection of Hot Wheels cars with up to 140 different models.
$80 (was $150)
For the collector’s edition, you’ll get everything included in the standard edition–a more premium version of the Chameleon car, checkpoints, and charging cable–as well as an exclusive Hot Wheels diecast McLaren Senna car and bonus in-game content.
“By now, Hot Wheels has been reinvented in nearly every way it could be. But teaming with Velan Studios, creators of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, has emblazoned the iconic flame logo on a new landscape: mixed reality.” Mark Delaney wrote in GameSpot’s Hot Wheels: Rift Rally feature. Hot Wheels: Rift Rally carries on from what Velan did with its Nintendo collaboration to give Hot Wheels fans of all ages a novel way to burn rubber.”
You don’t have to choose between PlayStation or iOS here either. One copy of the standard or collector’s edition works on both iOS and PlayStation platforms. The Rift Rally app is compatible with iPhones and iPads. Though this deal is technically slated to be available through December 20, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it sell out long before then.
