There are nearly a dozen Chrono Cross endings you can unlock, ranging from the sinister, sentimental, and nearly everything in between. You can only access a couple of them your first time through, and getting the others takes a fair bit of planning. If you’re playing the Radical Dreamers edition, though, you’ll need to get them all if you want the platinum trophy.

How many endings does Chrono Cross have?

Chrono Cross has at least 11 endings, though you can only access most of them during New Game+. After you’ve cleared the game once, you get the option to battle the Time Devourer, the final boss, whenever you want, and winning the battle at certain points in the story triggers new, non-canonical endings–one of which is technically just a joke ending where you chat with NPC versions of the game’s developers.

How to get Chrono Cross’ true ending

The true ending takes a bit of work and involves the Chrono Cross item itself. You’ll need to use it in the battle against the Time Devourer, but only after casting an Element of each type in a certain pattern. It’s a good idea to equip low-level elements to shorten the casting time and avoid any interruptions. The order you need to follow is:

YellowRedGreenBlueBlackWhite

Use the Chrono Cross after that to instantly defeat the Time Devourer. If you get interrupted, you’ll have to start the process over, though.

This ending sees Serge return to the point before he arrived in Another World, but without his memories, and ends with Kid vowing she’ll find him no matter what.

What is Chrono Cross’ bad ending?

The bad ending triggers if you defeat the Time Devourer without using the Chrono Cross, though only if it’s when the fight is scripted to take place. The ending doesn’t seem to trigger if you defeat it without the Chrono Cross in New Game+ during another sequence. In this ending, Serge bonds with the Time Devourer, though Kid is still shown searching for him in the modern world.

Chrono Cross additional endings

These are the other endings you can aim for after beating the game the first time.

General Kid

Defeat the Time Devourer before visiting Viper Manor, and after changing dimensions, and Kid takes over Lynx’s position, becoming a world-renowned military leader.

Magical Dreamers

If you have Nikki and Razzly in your party and defeat the Time Devourer without going to Fort Dragonia, this is the ending you’ll get, though “ending” is maybe stretching things a bit. Leena and Lisa attend a concert that Serge, Nikki, Razzly, and Kid perform at, and that’s pretty much it.

Pride and Honor

Defeat the Time Devourer after rescuing Riddel the first time, but before going back to Hermit’s Hideaway. In this ending, Serge is still in Lynx’s body, the dragoons assemble to join Lynx’s efforts, and the scene ends with Kid and Harle going off to battle.

A True Hero and A True Hero alternate ending

This one has two variations. The first triggers if you defeat the Time Devourer while Serge is still poisoned after Viper Manor, and the second if you beat the final boss after Kid is cured, but before visiting Fort Dragonia. Both endings are similar and follow Kid, Serge, Pierre, and a few others as they take on different roles after the final battle.

Serge’s Plan

Serge’s Plan triggers if you beat the game while Lynx and Serge are still swapped. Serge is confronted by those determined to exact revenge for his “wicked deeds,” while Lynx is suddenly more popular and has a posse of followers at the demi-human village.

The Record of Fate

After Harle leaves, fight the Time Devourer at Opassa Beach. You’ll see Lynx (as Serge) absorb the Record of F.A.T.E. at the end, so it’s not exactly a good ending.

Galaxy Night

Find and defeat Dario after Serge gets his body back, but before Terra Tower ascends into the sky. It takes a bit of planning and requires Norris and Karsh in the party. You’ll find a note in the throne room of Viper Manor that directs you to Isle of the Damned. Battle Solt and Peppor, get the Memento Pendant from them, then put Riddel in the party and travel to the Forgotten Island for the fight against Dario.

Once that’s done, go to Opassa Beach to battle the Time Devourer. General Viper opens an orphanage, but it’s not all sunshine and roses when Dark Serge shows up.

Wicked Deeds

This ending triggers if you defeat Schala before completing Terra Tower and then battle the Time Devourer. Sage helps summon a dragon to destroy humanity before they can continue killing the planet.

Developer’s Room

Use the Time Egg at the beginning of a New Game+ run to battle the Time Devourer immediately, using only Serge. You’ll end up in a room of NPCs named after the development team who mention anecdotes about the game’s development.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered

Day of the Tentacle: Remastered

Ahead of its time in multiple departments, 1993’s Day of the Tentacle is still a wonderfully absurd point-and-click from the golden age of LucasArts. Finally remastered in 2016, Day of the Tentacle remains a masterpiece that helped lay the foundation for a genre that was about to reach its peak. The remaster is a perfect reminder of this, sharpening the visuals with original hand-drawn art, adding a high-fidelity soundtrack, and retaining all the classic gameplay that made this title a hilarious head-scratcher. Day of the Tentacle Remastered is available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and mobile devices.

Grim Fandango Remastered

Grim Fandango Remastered

LucasArts at its very best, Grim Fandango’s tale of love and death is a sprawling adventure that plays out across several years. Packed with fantastic voice-acting and dripping with level design that set a new benchmark for games when it first arrived in 1998, Manny Calavera’s journey through the underworld is still regarded as the pinnacle of the point-and-click genre. The remastered version is well worth a look, and like the best games in that category, it’s packed with a number of substantial upgrades. You can grab it on consoles, PC, and mobile devices.

Monkey Island Collection

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge

LucasArts had been on a creative roll since its formation, and in 1990 the studio continued to prove that it was a heavyweight force to be reckoned with when it released The Secret of Monkey Island. Witty, charming, and well-animated sequels further fleshed out the tale of wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood and the comical world he inhabited. LeChuck’s Revenge and Curse of Monkey Island all contributed to creating an incredible trilogy of high seas adventure, and while additional titles might not have recaptured that magic, the whole collection is still worth checking out on PC. Return to Monkey Island will be the sixth entry in the series and the first in more than a decade.

Sam and Max Save the World

Sam and Max: Save the World

Telltale Games found a recipe for success with Sam and Max, as the revival of the classic LucasArts IP came at the perfect time. Featuring an original story told in episodic fashion, the freelance police were back in action and ready to turn the town upside down in search of clues. Somehow managing to be both bizarre and logical, Sam and Max Save the World was a bonkers return to form for the duo. Later seasons might not have reached the same level of quality, but the tongue-in-cheek escapades of the first season is still a highlight worth experiencing. Sam and Max Save the World is available on Xbox, Switch, and PC.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series

At its peak, Telltale Games was a creative force in gaming that was regularly churning out well-received point-and-click games. The Walking Dead was the studio’s breakout game and led to a flurry of episodic adventures across numerous popular franchises. Building on the foundation set by earlier projects and defining the studio for a new decade, the Walking Dead Games are a haunting collection of cel-shaded episodic horror, fast-paced QTEs, and decisions that had tangible consequences. Five games in The Walking Dead Telltale series were released. The first entry was always the best, and there were some less-than-stellar spin-offs, but the final story arc brought Clementine’s emotional journey to an impactful close. The Walking Dead’s structure and gameplay found its way into other Telltale adventures such as the brilliant Telltale’s Batman and The Wolf Among Us. You can play The Walking Dead on consoles, PC, and mobile devices.

King’s Quest

King’s Quest

Time has taken its toll on the King’s Quest series, but the original point-and-click is still an incredibly important part of gaming history. Essentially helping Sierra Entertainment evolve into a gaming juggernaut during the 1980s, King’s Quest was a pioneer with its use of animation and almost-3D environments to create a graphic adventure. If you’re looking to enter that kingdom and experience a less medieval point-and-click approach, check out the 2015 remake for a nostalgic dive into the past.

Thimbleweed Park

Thimbleweed Park

What happens when you mix Twin Peaks with X-Files? You get this gentle love letter to supernatural TV series that also throws in plenty of LucasArts influences into its mix of puzzles and retro graphics. The big draw with Thimbleweed Park was its creative approach to puzzles, as it regularly tested your grey matter with imaginative solutions for its various puzzles. Loaded with a regular number of “EUREKA!” moments when you figured out those enigmas, the game is an ingenious homage to the past. Thimbleweed Park is available on just about every modern platform.

Myst

Myst

Myst is required gaming for any point-and-click fan, and easily one of the biggest titles in the entire genre. A blockbuster game that had some fiendishly challenging puzzles to solve, Myst also featured some of the best set design of its time. If you were going to be stumped, at least you’d get a great view in the process. In the years since it first arrived, Myst has been ported to a wide range of platforms and can be found on most modern consoles. To get the most immersive experience possible, check out the VR version if you’re able to.

Maniac Mansion

Maniac Mansion

The game that introduced the world to the revolutionary design of the SCUMM interface, Maniac Mansion paved the way for LucasArts to create some of the best point-and-click games of all time. At the same time, Maniac Mansion is more than just a genre-defining tech showcase. It’s a game that pokes gentle fun at horror films and B-movies, always having fun with its subject matter and thinking outside of the narrative box. Technology comes and goes, but the genuine affection for its cinematic inspirations and heartfelt humor helped define an era of gaming. You can pick up Maniac Mansion for cheap on Steam.

Phantasmagoria

Phantasmagoria

Point-and-click games had been used across a wide variety of genres, but Phantasmagoria was one of the few titles brave enough to use the format for horror. A huge departure from the more family-friendly King’s Quest that Roberta Williams had created, Phantasmagoria mixed FMVs with terrifying encounters that was groundbreaking for its time. While some of the visuals might look dated by today’s standards, the game still has a talent for being constantly unsettling. It’s an interactive B-movie with some of the best overacting around. A cheesy classic that was unique for its time.

The Longest Journey

The Longest Journey

Credit to Funcom, as The Longest Journey certainly lived up to its title. A sweeping odyssey set across time, The Longest Journey is seen as one of the last great point-and-click games during the twilight of the genre. Released in 2000, it was a beautifully-rendered visual masterpiece, loaded with dialogue, and filled with foul-mouthed characters. If you have plenty of time to spare, give it a look on pC.

Kentucky Route Zero

Kentucky Route Zero

Fans and supporters of Kentucky Route Zero had to exercise extreme patience for this episodic series, but with each chapter released, developer Cardboard Computer reminded people that the wait was more than worthwhile. Delayed satisfaction wrapped up in intriguing layers of mystery and fresh perspectives, Kentucky Route Zero is one of the finest point-and-click games of the modern era. If you’re just checking it out, the good news is that you can grab all five acts of this magical realist adventure game in one complete package. No waiting years between chapters required.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Harrison Ford’s whip-wielding hero of archeology was destined to be a video game headliner, and in 1992 he got to embark on what is arguably considered to be the best Indiana Jones game. Fate of Atlantis was an adventure that would have been impossible to realize on the silver screen, a swashbuckling tale of mystery and danger that offered versatile play styles. An Indiana Jones game that was heavy on cerebral challenges and punch-powered action, it was another feather in the LucasArts fedora when it first hit the scene.

There is no game: Wrong Dimension

There is no game: Wrong Dimension

There is no game: Wrong Dimension is as high-concept a title that you can point and possibly click at, a collection of meta-commentary and silliness that never takes itself too seriously. It’s one of those titles that has to be played to be understood, as its abstract design and clever puzzles create one of the best paradoxes you’ll ever interact with. It’s a game, but it also isn’t one. And the only way for that statement to make sense, is to try this underrated gem out for yourself.

The Procession to Calvary

The Procession to Calvary

Every great point-and-click game has an element that helps it stand apart from others in its genre, and for The Procession To Calvary, that X-factor is its beautiful absurdity. Taking a museum’s worth of fine Renaissance art and using those assorted canvases to paint a puzzling picture, the game runs wild with Monty Python-esque humor. Whip-smart dialogue and bizarrely fun puzzles make this game a must-play on the bucket list for anyone who’s a fan of the point-and-click genre.

Gorogoa

Gorogoa

A point-and-click game in an arthouse movie format that blends sliding-tile puzzles into its elegant design, Gorogoa still manages to use these cathartic themes to create exciting moments within its world. Some of the puzzles may leave you scratching your scalp raw, but nothing beats the feeling of successfully completing its visual riddles. Even if you can’t solve those puzzles, the game is gorgeous to look at, an artisanal and hand-crafted mystery that’ll challenge your perception.

Norco

Norco

An adventure game that features a more retro inspiration in its art direction, Norco is a more somber tale of life in the South. Melancholic characters inhabit a land that bears the scars of the merciless march of the oil industry, environmental ruin has set in, and a community is under siege in a game that has deep layers of storytelling. It’s leagues more somber than anything else on this list, but Norco still manages to provide a thin sliver of hope within its pixelated tale of decay.

Device 6

Device 6

Mobile devices have become the perfect platform for point-and-click games, and the 2013 game Device 6 still stands apart from the pack for its novel approach to taking advantage of that technology. What starts out as a text adventure quickly evolves into a highly interactive puzzle game that’s backed by a jazz soundtrack and a unique layout. It has an eye-catching design that uses the iOS medium to tell a fantastic story.

Bethesda and ZeniMax Online’s MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online, continues to grow and is showing no signs of stopping, having recently reached a milestone of more than 20 million players. The next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online is coming this summer, and it’s set to take players to a never-before-seen part of Tamriel and put the spotlight on one of the Elder Scrolls franchise’s less-explored races, the Bretons. It’s called High Isle, and it’s part of this year’s Elder Scrolls Online year long adventure, Legacy of the Bretons. Here’s what you need to know about the next big Elder Scrolls adventure.

Release Date And Platforms

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle is coming on June 6 for PC, Mac, and Stadia players. Console players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will have to wait a bit longer, with the new chapter arriving on June 21.

High Isle’s Political Story

The Ascendant Magus and Ascendant Lord conspiring.

High Isle’s story has been described as a return to the franchise’s storytelling roots, a more grounded, realistic tale of bickering factions, politics, and intrigue. It’s a departure from the game’s other more recent chapters, which saw players battling against demonic invasions and world-ending threats. In High Isle, players will unravel a conspiracy that is looking to disrupt secret peace talks organized by the humanitarian group Steadfast that could bring an end to the game’s ongoing Three Banner War.

That conspiracy is being carried out by the Ascendant Order, a separatist group led by the mysterious Ascendant Lord and Ascendant Magus, two characters who operate in the shadows and whose identities players will uncover over the course of the chapter. Players will be able to learn more about Breton high-society and its chivalrous culture through High Isle’s various side quests, which should be appealing for Elder Scrolls lore buffs. Prior to this new chapter, there was no existing lore regarding High Isle, having only appeared on a single map in 1998’s The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, allowing ZeniMax Online to craft the story and lore of the High Isle region from whole cloth in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios.

High Isle New Zones And Content

Breton society is known for its knights.

Elder Scrolls Online’s High Isle chapter takes players to the Systres Archipelago, which comprises two islands–the titular High Isle and the prison island of Amenos. Players will get to explore both. High Isle is the epitome of Breton culture, with awe-inspiring castles, sprawling tourney grounds, and majestic seaside cliffs, a place where the upper class of Breton society travel to get away from it all and enjoy a little rest and recreation. Amenos, on the other hand, is a lush rainforest island where Breton society sends its worst criminals and political prisoners to fend for themselves in a struggle for survival.

High Isle’s main story and its various side quests represent roughly 30 hours of new content, according to ZeniMax Online. Some of that content includes the new Dreadsail Reef, a 12-player trial where players will battle against a group of bloodthirsty pirates that is similar in scope to the game’s Rockgrove trial. There are also two new recruitable companions, Ember the Khajiit sorcerer and Isobel Velois the Breton knight. In addition, High Isle will introduce a new world event, Volcanic Vents, that players can participate in. Like previous Elder Scrolls Online chapters, players don’t need to level through old content to experience High Isle, and they can instead instantly jump into whichever content interests them the most, including the new High Isle zones.

Tales of Tribute Card Game

Two players prepare to play a round of Tales of Tribute.

One of High Isle’s biggest additions is a new in-universe card game, Tales of Tribute. Described as a competitive resource-gathering deck-builder where players are racing to earn more victory points than their opponent, Tales of Tribute can be played against various NPCs in the world as part of a PvE storyline or against other players. To play Tales of Tribute, players shuffle together a total of four Patron decks (two from each player), and then proceed to draw from that shared deck of cards. Because the decks are shuffled together and used by both players, veterans who have unlocked or upgraded more cards won’t be at a distinct material advantage over newer players.

There will be a total of eight Patron decks at launch, each featuring 20 or so cards that are thematically tied together and feature unique mechanics. Players will unlock four decks after completing the in-game Tales of Tribute tutorial, and will unlock the remaining four through playing. Cards in these decks can be upgraded through climbing the game’s competitive ranks, completing achievements, or through other activities in Elder Scrolls Online.

When it comes to actually playing Tales of Tribute, players will need to gather resources like coins in order to purchase cards, which can then be played and grant various effects, like granting additional coins, the ability to draw additional cards, and more. There are two ways to win in Tales of Tribute, either by earning 40 victory points before an opponent or by gaining the favor of all four of the game’s “Patrons” at the same time. Each Patron has their own costs and requirements, making it no small feat to please all four at once.

Aside from the thrill of victory, playing Tales of Tribute will also grant players numerous rewards, including gold, consumables, crafting materials, cosmetics, transmute crystals, home furnishings, and more that can be used in other aspects of Elder Scrolls Online.

Pricing And Preorder

Preorder bonuses includes a new mount, pet, and two double XP boosts.

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle is currently available for preorder, and doing so gives players a few extra perks, including immediate access to the Palefrost Elk mount. Other preorder items, including the Knights of the Flame pup, Abecean Privateer’s Apparel costume, Dark Chivalry Crate, three High Isle treasure maps, and two double XP scrolls, will be distributed to players once High Isle launches on June 6 for PC, Mac, and Stadia and June 21 for console.

The standard version of High Isle retails for $40, with a $50 collector’s edition including additional in-game items like Armenos Ornaug mount, Balfiera Senche cub pet, Ascendant Knight Outfit costume, Hoard of the Schemers Memento, and the High Isle emote pack. Players will need to own the base version of Elder Scrolls Online in order to play High Isle, with an option to purchase both the base game and High Isle together for $60.

No Man’s Sky developer Hello Games is working on a new project that sounds very ambitious. Studio co-founder and managing director Sean Murray told IGN that the project is similar to No Man’s sky in that it has bold ambitions, though it is not No Man’s Sky 2.

“For a while now we’ve been working on something pretty ambitious in the background. It’s a small team but we like it that way,” Murray said. “Similar to No Man’s Sky, it’s the kind of project that even if we had a thousand people working on it, it’d still seem impossible.”

Hello Games has yet to announce this game officially, so there is very little to go on. Murray did, however, confirm that the work being done on this new project is not taking away from the studio’s ongoing commitment to growing and evolving No Man’s Sky.

“No Man’s Sky is not being held back by the next project but neither is the new thing being slowed by No Man’s Sky,” he said. “We’re lucky enough to be able to allow folks to move freely to work on what excites them.”

For what it’s worth, No Man’s Sky just got a big new update, Outlaws, that adds a criminal underworld and makes changes to space combat, among other things. Check out the full No Man’s Sky Outlaws patch notes to learn more.

Murray speaking with great aplomb about Hello Games’ next project is reminiscent of how he discussed No Man’s Sky many years ago. Some criticized Murray for overpromising and underdelivering at launch, and even Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida said the strategy to speak in this way “wasn’t a good PR strategy.” No Man’s Sky proved, in the end, to be a huge success that is still putting up very big numbers today on Steam and elsewhere.

Cyberpunk 2077‘s first major expansion will be released in 2023, developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed. The Polish studio made the announcement during its latest financial call today.

This is the first time CD Projekt Red is providing any insight into when the expansion might be released. The studio has not shared any details about what to expect from it, though CD Projekt Red has a history of large-scale, impressive expansions like The Witcher 3’s Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.

More details on Cyberpunk 2077’s expansion will be announced later this year.

As it was mentioned in @CDPROJEKTRED_IR financial call moments ago, Cyberpunk 2077’s upcoming expansion will arrive in 2023. Please stay tuned for more details coming later this year 🦾 https://t.co/rq1w6RDTDL

— Cyberpunk 2077 (@CyberpunkGame) April 14, 2022

As part of CD Projekt Red’s latest earnings release, the company said it believes in the “long-term potential” of Cyberpunk 2077 after it was criticized heavily at launch in 2020. Since then, CD Projekt Red has released eight major updates for the game, including the big-time 1.5 update that unlocked the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S benefits and introduced a wealth of changes across the board.

“One of our priorities for 2021 was to improve Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. We are now satisfied with the game and encouraged by the gamers’ reception of its next-gen console edition,” management said.

While CD Projekt Red continues to work on Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion, the studio overall is decreasing the number of development teams working on the game relative to last year. As you can see in the chart below, the majority of CD Projekt Red’s development teams are now working on “other projects,” including the next Witcher game. Developers committed to support for Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion appear to be in aggregate smaller now than at any point since the end of 2020 amongst the wider team.

How CD Projekt is allocating its development teams

Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 18 million copies, while The Witcher 3 just crossed 40 million units sold.

Would you look at that, it’s April 14 and we’re all back here to solve yet another Wordle. Today’s answer is a trickier one, since it isn’t too common a word that anyone really says aloud. But hey, that’s why you all have got me here to help you out, isn’t it?

Before I just outright give you folks the answer to today’s Wordle, have you given it a shot? Sometimes when you’re playing, you might end up with most of a word and have to try a few different combinations in order to get the final answer. My advice? Go with the most obvious word you can think of. As tricky as Wordle can be, it’s usually pulling from a dictionary of pretty common words. Even if you’re wrong, like I was on my second guess, eliminating the most obvious letters can point you to the unlikeliest solutions. That’s how I got today’s word in three guesses.

If you need more tips on how to crush Wordle, we’ve absolutely got some for you, including the best opening words. And if you don’t want to necessarily play Wordle but want something related, there’s a million and one spinoffs that have come out ever since the game’s popularity skyrocketed, like a Fortnite-based word guessing game called Fortle!

Today’s Wordle answer – April 14

I won’t lie, I’ve been thinking about ways that today’s Wordle answer can relate to video games and have come up with almost nothing. It’s a very specific word that is deployed in very specific ways. If you want, you can scroll right to the bottom to get to the answer, but why not struggle through these hints that sort of relate to games?

Hint 1: Today’s Wordle answer is part of a saying that means someone might speak too forcefully or bluntly. Think of your favorite potty-mouthed or straight-talking character. How might you describe how they speak?

Hint 2: Remember that gnarly butcher from the Depths in Dark Souls? Well when they aren’t slicing you up, they’re probably cutting up some meat. What’s another word for that process?

If you’re still looking for today’s answer, well here it is. The answer for April 14’s Wordle is…mince. Weird one, right? A character who speaks bluntly might not mince their words and that butcher definitely minced me once or twice. Scary stuff, really. Come back tomorrow as we’ll have another round of Wordle hints–and the all-important answer–waiting for you.

Elden Ring’s toughest boss, Malenia, blade of Miquella, may need to change her “I have never known defeat” tagline, as one player has made it their personal mission to defeat her time and time again on behalf of other players desperate for help.

Imagine this: You’re stuck on Elden Ring’s hardest boss. You’ve tried and failed dozens of times and you just want the whole ordeal to be over. You look to summon another player to aid you in your struggle. A summon sign appears with the name “Let me solo her,” along with a vision of the player’s appearance. He appears to be dual-wielding katanas and wearing nothing but a loincloth and a pot for a helmet. Is this person serious? Do they really have what it takes to solo Malenia all on their own, wearing almost no armor?

Indeed, Let me solo her does have what it takes. As numerous posts on the Elden Ring subreddit can attest to, Let me solo her is the real deal, dueling Malenia 1v1 and oftentimes emerging completely unscathed. Those who summon the mighty pot-wearing warrior need only sit back and watch the show. Let me solo her’s actions have even inspired fan art by a thankful community.

The multiplayer component to Fromsoft games is fairly modest compared to most games, and yet it’s so damn elegant that one player who helps others get past Elden Ring’s hardest boss is being mythologized and revered by the community pic.twitter.com/bZtzZs6lyx

— Paul R (@lbcyber) April 13, 2022

It appears Let me solo her’s username on social media is Klein Tsuboi, who’s uploaded a video of one of their Malenia duels to YouTube and also posted on Reddit to let other PC players know that their summon sign “will be down for desperate Tarnished as always.” If Malenia is proving to be too much trouble for you, maybe look for Let me solo her’s sign and give them a summon. Then relax and watch one nearly naked warrior who has never known defeat make Elden Ring’s most challenging enemy look like child’s play.

If, however, you insist on challenging Malenia yourself, this guide will help.

Lego Builder’s Journey has been updated with a new Creative Mode, which allows for dioramas to be constructed within it.

Using a curated selection of Lego bricks, you’ll be able to build on a selection of plates and themes, such as a city street corner or a beachfront harbor. What you build in these locales is up to you, but as Lego has noted in the past, there’s no wrong way to build anything using its bricks.

To keep things simple, the game will automatically give you a piece in the same shape and color as the last one that you placed, allowing for smooth and quick construction. Alternatively, the toybox will provide a fresh selection of pieces and you can use a paint tool to create something with an organized appearance. Or you can unleash your inner Jackson Pollock and go wild with the colors.

Once you’re done, you can use the game’s photo mode to grab a picture of your creation and share it online. The Lego brand has a number of projects in development right now, both digital and physical.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has just been released and has plenty of DLC on the way, and Bridge Constructor studio Clockstone is working on Lego Bricktales. If you’re looking for some Lego to build, new Super Mario, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Horizon Forbidden West kits are also on the way.

If you’ve ever wondered what an Evil Dead and Resident Evil crossover would look like, then this fan-made combination of cinematic footage and Resident Evil Village gameplay will answer that question for you.

Using clips from Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, content creator eli_handle_b․wav managed to replace Resident Evil Village protagonist Ethan Winters with Bruce Campbell’s iconic Deadite-slaying hero. The results are…groovy.

With Ash in the heroic hot seat, the Evil Dead icon can be seen tussling with Heisenberg’s mechanical monstrosity, that disturbing baby creature found in House Beneviento, and Donna’s doll Angie. It’s a surprisingly organic merger between two horror-themed franchises, that you can check out in the video above.

Ash has had a few video games over the years, and a new incarnation of the square-chinned hero will be arriving on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 on May 13. Initially scheduled for a February release, the game was delayed by a few months so that Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive could add some extra polish and a single-player mode.

If you’d prefer a different type of horror, there’s also a Texas Chainsaw Massacre game in development with a new twist on asymmetric multiplayer.
