If you’re looking to have a fun time in Elden Ring, look no further than some of the game’s most unique spells. Unseen Form, for instance, allows you to go invisible for a short while, giving you a chance to sneak around enemies and play tricks on PVP invaders. If you’d like to snag this one for yourself, read on for where to find it.

Unseen Form explained

Unseen Form is a sorcery that requires 16 Intelligence to cast. Using it will make you almost completely invisible for 30 seconds.

Unseen Form’s item description reads:

One of the night sorceries of Sellia, Town of Sorcery. Makes the caster semi-invisible. While on horseback, effect extends to cover the mount. This sorcery can be cast while in motion. The Sellian assassins considered every option that aided their dirty work.

Where to find Unseen Form

Unseen Form can be found atop Mirage Rise [1] in Altus Plateau after solving its puzzle. The tower will initially be hidden until you find and destroy three magical crests in the surrounding area–one of which is quite well-hidden.

Solve the Mirage Rise puzzle to get the tower to appear.

Here are the locations of all 3 crests:

The first crest [2] is located directly beside the pedestal that provides the puzzle’s clues. It’s almost impossible to miss. The second crest [3] is located just a bit to the west near a wall. Be careful of the enemies that will spawn in this area. The third crest [4] is the trickiest of the bunch. To the east of the clue pedestal and just south of the Bower of Bounty Site of Grace is a somewhat unusual rock on a small hill. If you strike it, it will reveal the final crest. Note that, if you notice a spectral fanged imp wandering in this area, you’re in the right place.

Once you’ve destroyed the last crest, Mirage Rise will appear in physical form, allowing you to climb to the top and find Unseen Form and its armament counterpart Unseen Blade.

A senior developer working on Halo Infinite has explained why 343 Industries is currently not implementing updates to help with hit-detection issues, among other things.

Senior sandbox designer Brian Berryhill respond to concerns on Reddit (via VGC), saying there are “a lot of factors” at play in regards to ongoing updates to Halo Infinite. But the long and short of it is that developers that would normally work on fixes to issues like hit-registration “have been allocated to other Infinite work.”

Berryhill was specifically responding to a video (see it below) that seemed to show melee hit registration wasn’t working as it should in Halo Infinite. The developer said the team appreciates fans putting together compilation videos regarding issues with Halo Infinite, adding that such videos are seen by 343 developers in bug and task threads internally.

Fans hoping to see fixes, however, will need to stay patient for now. Berryhill said the developers originally assigned to fixes issues like this are set to return to the Sandbox team soon “hopefully.” Berryhill didn’t say what the developers previously assigned to these improvements are now working on.

But it may be related to 343’s previous comments around how updates for Halo Infinite would need to slow down in the short-term to help set the team up for success in the future.

The next big addition to Halo Infinite in its ongoing Season 2: Lone Wolves is the arrival of online campaign co-op in August. Looking further out, there are rumors of a big new mode coming to Halo Infinite developed by Certain Affinity. Outside of Halo Infinite, Halo’s iconic Pelican is now flyable in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

As part of the June 28 Nintendo Direct, a brand-new Switch game that reminds us of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley was announced. Harvestella is a new game from Square Enix that takes players to the world of Lethe, a peaceful village that is facing a big threat.

Harvestella is described as a “life-simulation RPG” that lets players “farm, fight, and forge friendships.” Players will farm, craft, and collect items and materials, while they can also interact with townspeople. The game has a season system that takes players through spring, summer, fall, and winter.

One more season follows, and it’s the scariest of the bunch. The fifth season is the season of death, Quietus. During this season, your crops will wither, and in general, life becomes threatened.

In one scene, we see the player trying to open a door during the season of death, and a child’s voice from within responds, “Sorry, mommy said I’m not to open the door.” Players must find a way to stop Quietus and save their peaceful village.

Harvestella launches November 4 for Nintendo Switch.

The June 28 Nintendo Direct also revealed that the Portal Companion Collection is releasing today for Nintendo’s hybrid console and that Persona 5 Royal will come to Switch in October.

The newest entry in the Mario + Rabbids series, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, is set to release October 20, 2022, according to Ubisoft’s digital storefront. The company has since removed the listing, but not before Twitter user Nibellion managed to save a screenshot of the leak.

Looks like Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope launches October 20https://t.co/wr06c8pVBB pic.twitter.com/wnxHhQt4qY

— Nibel (@Nibellion) June 27, 2022

In addition to the release date, the Ubisoft ad also indicated there will be a gold edition of the game. This edition will come with a season pass giving players access to future characters, quests, and battles, as well as the Galactic Prestige pack, a cosmetics kit containing weapon and character skins.

The reveal comes less than a day ahead of June 28’s Nintendo Mini Direct, which is scheduled to contain about 25 minutes of information on upcoming third-party Switch games. Considering the timing of the leak, it seems safe to assume we’ll see a bit more of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope–included the intended release date reveal–during the showcase.

The follow up to 2017’s Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Sparks of Hope is a turn-based strategy game wherein the Mushroom Kingdom’s best and brightest must team up with some of the strangest creatures in gaming: the Rabbids. While the first game took place within Peach’s domain, Sparks of Hope sees our heroes take to the galaxy as they hunt down the evil entity Cursa and save the world’s Sparks. Players will be able to choose from characters including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, and newcomer Rabbid Rosalina.

Final Fantasy 14 is chock full of different crafting and harvesting disciplines, called Disciples of the Hand and Disciples of the Land, which span classes like the Botanist and the Weaver to name a few. Many of these different disciplines feed into one another, at least in the sense that certain materials used by one discipline might only be obtained by a member of another discipline. Moko Grass is one such crafting material, and this is broadly how the ecosystem of Final Fantasy 14’s crafting and harvesting classes support each other. Not to mention, there are a ton of unique crafting materials to discover across Hydaelyn.

Everyone starts somewhere, including the Weaver, who relies on a crafting material called Moko Grass for many of its early ventures into the world of sewing apparel and crafting other cloth-based goods and furnishings. If you’re unsure what Moko Grass is or how to get it, you’ve come to the right place; this short guide explains everything you need to know about Moko Grass.

Moko Grass item description

Every item in Final Fantasy 14 has a unique description. Moko Grass is described as “A common grass found growing throughout Aldenard. From its stalks, hempen yarn is created.”

Moko Grass is designated as a Crafting Material and can be sold to merchants for one gil per unit.

How to gather Moko Grass

Moko Grass is harvestable in small quantities, and can only be found as a natural resource in one area near the infamous Waking Sands location, central to the main story questline for Disciple of War and Disciple of Magic characters. But before you can gather Moko Grass from the resource node, you’ll need to become a Botanist by traveling to the Botanist’s Guild in Gridania. Then you’ll level up your Botanist class to level 11 at the very least.

The single location where Moko Grass is harvestable is in Western Thanalan, near Horizon. If you step immediately out of the southern gates of the town, you might see a level 15 Lush Vegetation Patch spawn in the brush. If it’s been harvested recently, it may take a minute or two to respawn.

Where to buy Moko Grass

Fortunately, Moko Grass is way easier to purchase from an NPC than it is to harvest in the wild. Several merchants in the major starting cities will sell you Moko Grass at two gil per unit, making it inexpensive as well. The following merchants can be found in the following locations:

Engerrand Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:8.6 Y:11.8)O’rhoyod Old Gridania (X:14.4 Y:8.9)Fridurih Ul’dah – Steps of Thal (X:13.7 Y:9.5)Gigima Ul’dah – Steps of Thal (X:13.9 Y:13.1)Pasdevillet The Pillars (X:7.3 Y:10.6)

Quests that grant Moko Grass

There is only one quest that rewards Moko Grass, and it is the first quest acquired by the Weaver at level one, called My First Needle. Upon completing the quest, you are rewarded 40 units of Moko Grass so you can immediately begin crafting.

Recipes that use Moko Grass

Moko Grass is currently used in just four recipes: Hempen Yarn, Hempen Work Gloves, Hempen Acton, and Blank Grade 1 Orchestrion Roll.

Hempen Yarn is the primary building block for a much grander array of recipes across various disciplines. It’s used in the creation of armor and weapons for low-level Archers, Conjurers, and Arcanists.

How to become a Weaver

Becoming a Weaver is possible once you’ve leveled a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic class up to level 10. After that, you can begin the quest Way of the Weaver by speaking to Maronne in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal, at the coordinates (X: 13.9 Y: 13.2).

Apex Legends Mobile‘s new Cheers to the Apex Community event isn’t the record-breaking mobile game‘s first login bonus event, but it is one of the first to contain high-quality free rewards.

While previous login bonus events have provided players with low-tier cosmetic rewards, Cheers to the Apex Community contains several unique, valuable free rewards–including a Legendary-tier cosmetic. Keep reading for a closer look at all the snazzy prizes available in the new event, along with some tips on how to make the most of them.

Getting started

Upon opening the Apex Mobile app, you will be met with a splash screen announcing the event. You will have automatically unlocked the first prize, so simply hit “claim” to obtain it. If you accidentally close the window before claiming your prize, select the Seasonal Events banner on the right side of the screen, then select the Limited Time tab. This page will take you to a page listing active limited-time seasonal events like Loba’s Soirée. On the right side of this screen is a menu naming the active events. Select the Cheers to the Apex Community tab from this menu, which will then take you to the event page where you can redeem any unclaimed prizes.

Completing the event

The Cheers to the Apex Community event is quite easy to complete–all you have to do is log into Apex Legends Mobile each day of the week to claim your rewards. But to obtain each of the free rewards (including the Legendary banner frame), you cannot miss a day, as the event is only active this week.

Rewards

The following login rewards can be redeemed for free during the event:

First day: Rare-tier You Are The Nail Caustic holospraySecond day: 2,000 XPThird day: 3,000 diamonds, used to unlock free cosmetics from the Seasonal ShopFourth day: Rare-tier Before The Rift Wraith banner poseFifth day: Mission Cards (2), used to auto-complete seasonal missions and challengesSixth day: 5,000 diamondsSeventh day: Legendary-tier Unfairgrounds Mirage banner frame

Tips

Unlike treasure packs, you do not need to play any matches to redeem the event’s free rewards–simply logging daily in will unlock them.Other events are also active on the Limited Time events tab, including Loba’s Soirée and the user survey. Even if you’ve previously completed a survey, you can take another one in return for 50 free Flux, so get moving–the survey will only be available until 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET today. However, unlike the Cheers to the Apex Community event and the user survey, Loba’s Soirée does not have free rewards, and the event will end on June 29.If you have not already done so, you can also connect your Apex Legends Mobile account to your EA account by selecting Connect Accounts from the Limited Time menu. Doing so will unlock Wraith as a playable character and reward you with both the Epic-tier Hot Pursuit Octane skin and the Epic-tier Game Day avatar frame for your user profile. The Connect Accounts event expires on July 12.

Curiously, selecting the question mark on the event page brings up a screen that reads, “Log in to get your Autumn Celebration reward!” This could be an unintended error displaying content meant for later this fall, or it could be a hint at the game’s next battle pass theme–Cold Snap went live in the middle of June, so an autumn-themed battle pass or event launching in July certainly isn’t outside the realm of possibility.

The Cheers to the Apex Community event began on June 26, so if you logged in yesterday, you’ll have an extra day to complete the reward track and can afford to miss a day. But the event ends this Sunday, so if today is your first time logging in this week and you’re dead-set on snagging that Legendary banner frame, be sure not to skip any days. The Cheers to the Apex Community event ends on July 3.

Apex Legends Mobile is available for download on iOS and Android.

Pokemon Go has always been a game meant to be played outside. Developer Niantic is eager to remind players of this and even more eager to remind everyone that outdoor Go Fests are happening in Seattle, Berlin, and Sapporo in the coming months. We spoke with Pokemon Go’s director of global live events Humberto Kam recently about why now is the time to take Pokemon Go outside again, even with lingering COVID concerns, and Niantic shared a presentation doubling down on why now is the time to go back outside to catch Pokemon.

Niantic founder John Hanke and Pokemon Go’s director of live product, Michael Steranka, were on hand to talk about returning to live events, share optimism that this year will mark a return to the excitement the game appreciated when it launched in 2016, and remind that playing social games outside has always been a core Niantic value.

John Hanke spent most of his time at Go Fest 2017 speaking with players.

Hanke also reminisced and commiserated about the past. The 2017 Pokemon Go Fest in Chicago was the first the company ever held on that kind of scale and there is no sugar-coating what happened–it did not go well.

“It was a tough learning experience for us,” Hanke said about how the game was not working for the majority of the event and it wasn’t until the afternoon that players were able to finally explore the city and catch Pokemon.

The Pokemon Go Fest events held in 2018 and 2019 went more smoothly, and though the company held a print-at-home Fest event in 2020 necessitated by the pandemic, Hanke said it was just not quite the same. Hanke called it, “A pale shadow of the real event, but it was what we had.”

Last year, Niantic took baby steps to return Pokemon Go to in-person events by holding community days and smaller events, and then held a larger Safari Zone event in May in Seville, Spain. That event went well and paved the way for the upcoming Seattle, Berlin, and Sapporo events. Despite the success of these smaller events, Steranka says the company is still being careful about moving forward. “It’s a little bit nerve-wracking,” Steranka said, “It’s led to lots of sleepless nights for myself and other folks here.”

Pokemon Go’s Safari Zone event took place in Seville, Spain on May 13.

For the upcoming Go Fest events, Steranka says there will be more than 200 unique Pokemon to capture with 80 of those Pokemon appearing at each of the events. “It’s the most ambitious Go Fest we’ve ever put together,” Steranka says. Thankfully you will still be able to be able to encounter these Pokemon even outside of being at those events in-person.

Pokemon Go returning to in-person events is as exciting as the rest of the world slowly returning to social events that have been inaccessible during the pandemic, but the Pokemon Go community isn’t universally happy about the renewed direction of the game. During the pandemic, many mechanics were changed to allow players to play the game and catch Pokemon without needing to put themselves in COVID danger. They didn’t have to gather with groups of other players or travel to more populated urban locations where Pokemon and Poke Stops are more dense to play. The changed mechanics especially benefited players in rural areas and have generally been embraced by the community.

In response to the backlash around Pokemon Go’s reverted mechanics Steranka said, “Over the last two years, we’ve tried to meet players where they were because of the pandemic.” Steranka followed up saying the mechanics were always meant to be a temporary measure and that Niantic’s games, and Pokemon Go in particular, have always been about going outside and playing outside. That being said, not all the mechanics are being reverted. Remote raiding remains, the number of Pokemon have been increased in rural areas, and daily home Pokemon spawns will still be happening. “We think the pendulum swung a little too far,” Steranka said and reiterated that Niantic is a mission-driven company and one of Niantic’s core missions is to promote outdoor exercise, which is something scaling back the pandemic mechanics will help achieve.

The 2022 Seattle Go Fest takes place between July 22 and 24.

Another issue often raised by the community is related to Incense, which lets players use an item that can be earned or purchased to promote Pokemon spawning. “We’re aware of the visual bug that happened. It was really unfortunate timing for that bug to take effect. Some Pokemon still appeared on the map after despawning,” Steranka said. “That bug has been fixed and we’ll be continuing to monitor it over the next few months.”

Finally, Niantic ended its presentation by talking ambiguously about its new expanded social integration app, Campfire. The app will let players coordinate with other trainers (which is how Niantic refers to Pokemon Go players) without having to leave the Pokemon Go app. Hanke spoke up again and said Campfire will be rolling out over coming weeks and there will be more to share soon.

Pokemon Go Fests will be happening in Berlin, Germany, between July 1-2, Seattle, Washington between July 22-24, and finally Sapporo, Japan between August 5-7. Niantic is also planning a big finale event, but it has yet to detail exactly what that will entail and how it will work. You can read more about those events and how to buy tickets for them here.

Ubisoft’s long-in-development pirate game Skull And Bones is getting closer to launch, and now it’s been rated for release in multiple territories, suggesting that the game will soon see the light of day.

South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee has posted a rating for Skull And Bones, as discovered by @the_marmolade on Twitter (via VGC). The rating doesn’t reveal anything new about Skull & Bones, but it does pave the way for the game to be released. The ESRB database now shows a rating for Skull And Bones as well, along with a description about its M-for-Mature rating.

Skull And Bones ESRB Rating Summary

“This is a naval-combat action game in which players assume the role of a shipwrecked outcast on a journey to become a pirate captain. As players take on missions, they can explore settlements and engage in dramatic sea battles. From a first-person perspective, players command their crew to shoot cannons at rivals (e.g., warships, merchant ships, settlements/forts) in attempts to obtain loot/goods. Enemy ships can be rammed and boarded, resulting in brief cutscenes of crew members shooting or slashing at each other. Combat is highlighted by gunfire/cannon fire, explosions, and blood-splatter effects. Some territories depict corpses impaled on spikes or hanging from nooses; beaches may depict corpses and large bloodstains in the aftermath of battle. Settlements occasionally contain brothels and prostitutes that call out to players when approached (e.g., “Come spend your coin all over me”; “The price of my a*se goes up tomorrow, so buy a piece today!”). Players can also engage in quests to bring poppies to opium dens, which are depicted with patrons lying on couches smoking pipes. The words “f**k” and “sh*te” appear in the dialogue.”

Skull And Bones getting a rating is no big surprise, as Ubisoft plans to release the title sometime in the next year, and getting approval for release by ratings groups is part of that process.

Skull And Bones was announced at E3 2017, but its road to launch hasn’t been smooth sailing. The game, which is in development at Ubisoft Singapore, is said to have undergone numerous changes throughout the course of its development, including a shift to a live-service approach in 2020.

In April, a lengthy gameplay video emerged from a Skull And Bones technical test that provided the best look yet at the pirate game and what it will offer. The goal is to become the most infamous pirate on the seas during the golden age of piracy. Players can disembark their ship at a place called Saint-Anne where they can craft new ships and equipment, collect provisions, take on contracts, and socialize with other human players, according to the leaked video.

The video also reveals that players will have their reputation tracked through an “infamy” scale that they can grow by taking on contracts with rewards for succeeding and penalties for coming up short. Users can also take part in world events and plunder treasure chests to gain infamy. What’s more, the video reveals some of the character creation and customization options available to players, as well as the systems that call on players to manage their ship health and crew morale when at sea.

Ubisoft reacted to the leak by telling fans to “keep your eyes on the horizon.” Reading between the lines here, it appears Ubisoft might be gearing up to make some kind of an official announcement about the game soon. Ubisoft historically holds a summer games showcase of some kind, but the company has not yet announced plans for this as of yet.
